Bob Gordon Elderberry

The fruits of this Elderberry are sweeter and larger than other cultivars. The plants are vigorous and productive. The size of this bush can be contained by pruning when dormant. Yields are high. Hardiness Zones 3-8. Plant spacing is 6 feet from other elderberry bushes.

Elderberry syrup is made to treat colds, coughs and other upper respiratory ailments. Elderberries can be made into jam, jelly, wine, juice, syrup or pies.

Berries must be cooked before consuming. 

Needs a pollinator of a different elderberry variety.
