Perennial. Can be invasive, plant in a container.
Lemon balm is in the mint family and has many medicinal uses as well as it's been said to help keep mosquitos and other bugs at bay when used around the yard. Has a wonderful lemony fragrance and makes a great, calming tea.

Cold stratification suggested for 4 weeks. Sow seeds indoors 6 weeks before last frost. Sow a sprinkle of seeds on surface of soil, gently pressing them into the soil. Sprouts in 5-10 days.
